I wanted to do this because it has more ideas more details and I could add many specific drawings.
4. How does your art connect to this historical time period?
How my art connects to this historical event is I drew the Auschwitz camp which was part of World War 2 and the holocaust was a major impact that go thousands of jews killed, So the drawing explains all of what happened during the holocaust such like the Nazis rating Poland and separating families for example a holocaust survivor Elie wrote a book of his experience throughout the time he was in the Auschwitz camps and he mentions his mom and sister died the day they arrived, and only Elie and his father survived till his father got very ill and died while they were moving camps only Elie survived. This is what my art is showing such like the Auschwitz concentration camps

I want them to know a lot of innocent people died during this war and people forget that they were innocent and there was young people that witness a lot of there loved ones death and remaining survivors probably live with survivors guilt and we should talk about this situation more.
7.Why should we care about the history from this era?
We should care about this because a lot happened throughout this war such like families hiding out to not get captured from the Nazis and to many innocent lives got taken away, a lot of the U.S. military, army our soldiers didn't get to come back to there families
8.How did this process help you connect your story with Americas story?
It got me to learn more about. this timeline and other events like this occur or even worse. It also showed me more behind "genocide" and the real meaning about how is it connected to these time line events or even now days it tells me how genocide still happens to this day.
9.How does this help you care about people/issues in our community?
It brings us all together on how we need to fight off the genocide and if we learn more about it, it'll help us get to know more about the community and the situation that is occurring now and how we could fight it off.
